Kelly Hoyland joins the Board of Directors of Velocity Network Foundation
Congradulations to Kelly Hoyland, Director at Unicon, on her election to the Velocity Network Foundation Board of Directors.
With a career rooted in education and evolved through leadership in technology, Kelly Hoyland brings over 15 years of experience advancing digital learning, credentialing, and interoperability across higher education and K–12. Kelly began as a Career and Technical Education teacher, where she developed a deep appreciation for connecting learning to meaningful career pathways. That foundation continues to shape her commitment to ensuring individuals can access, own, and showcase their verified learning achievements so they can move forward on their journey—wherever it leads.
At Unicon, Kelly helps drive initiatives that help institutions, foundations, and industry partners design and implement interoperable solutions that increase transparency and trust in learning records. Her work focuses on aligning strategy, technology, and collaboration to create systems that serve learners and the organizations that support them.
Kelly holds a Master of Education in Educational Technology from Marian University and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Education from the University of Wisconsin–Stout.
Speaking of her election to the Board, Kelly said:
