Mark Baglia joins the Board of Directors of Velocity Network Foundation

Congradulations to Mark Baglia, Director of Product Management at HireRight, on his election to the Velocity Network Foundation Board of Directors.

Mark Baglia is a seasoned leader in identity and security who combines product strategy, standards advocacy, and technical delivery. He has led cross-functional teams to deploy verifiable credential solutions, contributed to interoperability efforts across standards bodies, and built privacy-first architectures that balance usability with assurance. His experience translating standards into production implementations and fostering public–private partnerships will advance the Foundation’s mission.

He currently serves as Director of Product for Verifications, Identity, and Fingerprinting. Over the last 20 years, he has worked as an engineer across various industries before transitioning into product with Amazon post MBA. At Amazon he led the development of fraud and illicit content detection for the Kindle Content organization. More recently, he has led Product teams and initiatives for pricing, AI/ML, data, and platform across multiple other smaller companies. He holds a BS in Engineering from Georgia Tech, and an MS in Engineering and MBA from Vanderbilt University

Speaking of his election to the Board, Mark said:
