Network Adoption Metrics

The network adoption metrics were defined by the Velocity Network Foundation Adoption Committee to ensure that we are tracking and transparent on metrics for three categories: Infrastructure, Participating Organizations, Credential Transactions.

Note: Data from the Network is updated every 24 hours

Infrastructure Metrics

Infrastructure metrics represent the growth of the participating organizations that are providing trust and security in the Network (by hosting nodes of the distributed ledger) and providing user choice and confidence (by providing alternative wallets on the Network).

This includes:

Wallets – The number of independent wallets that are available to individuals and enable them to claim credentials from all issuers on the Network and disclose credentials to all Relying Parties on the Network.

Network Stewards – The number of independent organizations running one or more blockchain nodes.

Credential Transaction Metrics

Credential transaction metrics represent the growth of the transactional activity of credentials on the Network.

This includes:

Credentials Anchored on Chain – The number of credentials claimed by individuals to their wallets and proofs anchored to the Velocity blockchain.
