This week, we launched our new Education Cluster, which was the perfect opportunity to welcome Velocity Network Foundation’s newest member – Education Design Lab!
Education Design Lab is a non-profit that designs, tests, and implements unique higher education models that address the rapidly changing economy and emerging technology opportunities.
To mark the news, Executive Director of Digital Transformation Naomi Boyer explained:
“Education Design Lab tackles wicked issues in the learn-earn continuum and believes the establishment of a skill-based talent ecosystem is critical to achieving equitable outcomes for those who most need opportunity, as well as create a diverse pipeline of skilled workers to drive economic productivity.
We are excited to join the Velocity Network Foundation Education Cluster to advocate, drive adoption, explore and test new opportunities in career records creation and utilization to empower individuals with documentation of their skills, experiences, and credentials.”
