NYC Assembly ’23: Fireside Chat with HCA Healthcare CHRO, Jennifer Berres

On the 19th of June 2023 in New York City, Jennifer Berres, Senior Vice President and CHRO of HCA Healthcare spoke at the Velocity General Assembly.

Speaking with Ollie Henderson, Jennifer outlined her vision for how verifiable credentials will make a difference to healthcare workers:

“Imagine a day when we can get somebody onboarded in less than 24 hours and they’re at the bedside caring for patients.”

That day, of course, is now here and as she described to Etan Bernstein, when she shared the goal of reducing onboarding time from up to 28 days to 7 minutes, a group of HR leaders cheered!

Noting that hiring has, up to now, been at crisis point, Jennifer explained how verifiable credentials issued on the Velocity Network™ will now “revolutionize what we do.”
